Solarvest Secures RM320 Million EPCC Contract for 99.99MWac Floating Solar Project in Kampar, Perak

 

Kuala Lumpur, 20 November 2025 – Regional clean energy expert, Solarvest Holdings Berhad (“Solarvest” or “the Group”) has secured an RM320 million Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (“EPCC”) contract under the Large Scale Solar 5 programme (“LSS5”). The project, with a capacity of 99.99MWac, is awarded by Wawasan Demi Sdn. Bhd. (“Wawasan Demi”), a 63%-owned subsidiary of AIZO Group Berhad.

The project located in Kampar, Perak, and is scheduled commercial operation on 30 October 2027. Once commissioned, it is expected to generate approximately 205,709MW of clean energy annually, offsetting around 159,219 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.

Executive Director and Group Chief Strategy Officer of Solarvest, Mr. Leon Liew Chee Ing (刘骐英) said, “We are pleased to be entrusted by Wawasan Demi to execute this project and appreciate their confidence in our expertise in complex floating solar solutions. This project marks another key milestone for Solarvest, as the Group continues to strengthen its order book, which now stands at RM1.6 billion following the announcement of the 2QFY2026 financial results. Demonstrating Solarvest’s growing reputation as a trusted clean energy partner in Malaysia, this achievement highlights the Group’s strong execution capabilities and ongoing momentum in delivering large-scale renewable energy projects.
