Powerbee App Privacy Policy
The privacy policy hereinafter (“Privacy Policy”) describes the collection, use and disclosure of the user (“You”) information when You use the service operated and maintained by Powerbee Sdn Bhd (“Powerbee”). Powerbee uses Your personal data and information to provide and improve its service. This Privacy Policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via platforms other than the App. By using such Service on the App, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and any relevant law such as the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Collection Of Personal Data and Information
While using the App, Powerbee may request You to provide certain personal information that can be used to contact and identify You. Such personal information may include, without limitation:
- Individual/company name;
- Identification number/company registration number;
- Address;
- Emails and contact numbers;
- Data from website cookies.
Subject to compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, Your personal data and information collected will be shared to the following:
- Within Powerbee’s officers, directors, employees, consultants, agents, advisers, contractors, affiliates, subsidiaries and/or representatives of Powerbee;

- When doing so is necessary to protect Your interests and when obtaining Your consent prior to doing so is not practicable;

Some of the data may be collected automatically while using the App. Such data may include Your device’s Internet Protocol address (IP address), Your device’s software version, the date and time of Your access to the App, and other diagnostic data.
Usage of Your Personal Data and Information
Powerbee uses the information it collects to:
- Provide, operate and maintain the App;
- Improve, personalize and expand the App;
- Understand and analyse Your behaviour in using the App;
- Develop new products, services, features and functionality;
- Communicate with You pertaining to any notices and updates relating to the App, as well as for marketing and promotional purposes;
- Send e-receipt to You via emails upon any payment has been made;
- Find and prevent fraud activities.
Tracking System and Cookies
Powerbee may use a tracking system such as Cookies to track Your activity on the App as well as on the other mobile application and store certain information. You can choose to refuse all Cookies but this would indicate that You may not be able to use some part of the service on the App.
Payments
Powerbee may provide paid products, services and/or features within the App. In such instance, Powerbee will engage third-party services named i-Ruma Sdn Bhd (“i-Ruma”) for payment processing. Powerbee will not store or collect Your payment card details. Your payment card details are provided directly to i-Ruma whereby the use of Your payment card details is governed by their privacy policy. Your Rights
You have the rights to request access to the personal data and information you have provided to Powerbee. You also have the right to withdraw Your consent that has been given to us for processing Your data and information. However, such withdrawal may affect the services that Powerbee can extend to You.
In the event You wish to change or update Your personal data and information, You may do so by using the “Settings” provided in the App and Powerbee will process such changes or updates.
