Large scale solar, known as LSS, utility scale solar, or solar farm, is a solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant at a scale large enough to be classified as “utility-scale”. These solar plants are usually designed with an installed capacity of 10 megawatts and above. Through the solar power plant, you can harness the power of the sun to generate clean electricity and supply it to the national grid.
The Large Scale Solar Photovoltaic (LSSPV) Programme is a government-led competitive bidding scheme that allows plant owners to generate solar energy via large scale solar solar farms in Malaysia and sell it to the grid up to 25 years. The LSSPV Programme is managed and administered by the Energy Commission Malaysia. The primary objective is to drive down the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), making clean energy more accessible and cost-effective.
To participate in this programme, potential developers will undergo a competitive bidding process. A. comprehensive technical study must be conducted before submission for the scheme to the relevant authority.
Solarvest is a leading regional pioneer in providing LSSPV solutions, catering to the rapidly growing clean energy industry in Asia Pacific region. Our dedicated and professional team had successfully developed over 600MW of LSSPV projects. What sets us apart is our distinction as the first to achieve Commission Operation Date (COD) for LSS projects under the first Malaysia LSS Programme. This achievement underscores our commitment to driving the growth and sustainability of clean energy in Malaysia. With more than 12 years of experience in clean energy sector, Solarvest is your trusted partner in developing your LSS projects.

Corporate Green Power Programme (CGPP) is a renewable energy initiative that enables corporate consumers (CC) to virtually purchase solar energy from solar power producers (SPP) through a virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA).
By participating in this programme, businesses can enjoy the benefits of solar energy without installing solar assets on their properties, as there is no physical transfer of electricity. This programme not only supports the growing number of electricity consumers aiming to achieve their Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) targets, but also provide businesses the opportunity to adopt clean energy within their business operations.
Under CGPP, the Corporate Consumer (CC) agrees to purchase energy generated by the Solar Power Producer (SPP) at an agreed price. If the actual System Marginal price (SMP) exceeds the agreed price, the SPP compensates the CC for the difference, and vice versa.
